Justin Sires (SVC 1988-93) and wife Amanda are the proud parents of a son, Jett Harvey, who was born on February 21 at St Thomas’ Hospital London.

In 1992 Justin was member of the SVC Eight which won the Southern Head of the River, the Tasmanian Schoolboys’ Eights and was second in the State Head of the River. That same year he won the National School Boy Under 17 Championship Single Scull at Currum in Queensland.
Post school Justin moved to Queensland where he gained a Bachelor of Business (Marketing) from Charles Sturt University in 2002. He was the recipient of an MLC Junior Sport Foundation Scholarship and held an Australian Institute of Sport Scholarship for a number of years. The high point of his rowing career was representing Australia in the 1998 Under 23 Quad Scull at Milan, Italy. Justin was part of the Australian Olympic Trial squad in 2003 but was forced into early retirement due to an injury.
From 1998-2010, Justin was employed with Telstra and reached the position of Marketing General Manager. After his injury and when working for Telstra, Sires identified the need for better end-of-trip facilities and started a company called Fresh Locker. He met business partner Mark Rossiter whose business, Penny Farthings, specialised in cycling. They formed PFL Spaces and have never looked back.
PFL expanded into North America in 2014 and Europe in 2016
The company is commissioned to design, install and service the largest bike parking and change room facilities across Asia Pacific, North America and Europe
Justin is the co-Founder and Director of $10m+ business, employing 28 teams across three continents, with over 500 bike and change room facilities designed, 250 installed and 150 serviced internationally to-date.
