Dr Mike Pritchard and his local crew of 12 sailors conquered the 2017 Sydney to Hobart race crossing the line in 26th place in two days, one hour and 59 seconds. Oskana finished in 23rd place on handicap. For Mike it is great break from his day job as a surgeon where he has treated famous athletes such as Lleyton Hewitt, Tim Paine and SVC’s own Jack Riewoldt and from his other passion – racing his 600 horse power Dodge Viper race car.
