Cricket Tasmania recently announced the appointment of Dominic Baker (SVC 1983 – 88) as its new Chief Executive. This move follows a 13 year career with the Federal Group in a number of roles, most recently as the General Manager, Casino Resorts and Entertainment.
To quote Cricket Tasmania chairman, Andrew Gaggin, “Dominic is a Tasmanian with significant experience in tourism, hospitality and sports administration, and has been passionately involved with sport since childhood.”
His appointment comes after the resignation of Nick Cummins who has made significant changes at CT over the past two years. Dominic had previously served as AFL Tasmania chairman from 2006-15 and the cricket community is excited about a new leader with a strong understanding of the Tasmanian sporting landscape.
